Austin, TX – April 10, 2026 – Operate Technologies, developer of the Operate Mobile and SaaS application for commercial landscaping companies, today announced that Mike Turner has joined the company as a member of its Board of Advisors. Mike brings more than 20 years of experience building, scaling, and successfully exiting technology companies, along with deep expertise in enterprise software and growth strategy.
Mike is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive best known as the Founder and CEO of Waveset Technologies, where he helped define the identity management category and led the company through rapid growth and a successful acquisition by Sun Microsystems. Members of the Waveset team later went on to found SailPoint Technologies, one of the leading companies in the identity governance space.
Earlier in his career, Mike served as Vice President and General Manager of enterprise products at IBM Tivoli Systems, where he led a $1.2 billion business unit focused on enterprise IT solutions.
In addition to his operating roles, Mike has been an active advisor, board member, and investor across a number of high growth companies, including Liquibase, where he continues to serve as a mentor and board member, along with several other successful ventures that have achieved meaningful exits.
